Q: Who is a good candidate for hair extensions?

A: Anyone!  People with fine, thin hair who want to add a little bulk or people who want to add some length to get them through that growing-out stage.  Also, I can match any hair color or texture.

Q: What kind of hair do you use? How are the extensions attached/ put in?

A: I use 100% Bohyme human hair.  The hair still has an intact cuticle layer, which helps prevent tangling.  The hair also has a micro-fine weft, to minimize the “lumpiness” at the scalp.

I do not use any adhesives or clamps.  Those methods tend to cause breakage and irritation.  My technique utilizes braiding and sewing.  The hair is attached very near the scalp, where your natural  hair is healthiest and can easily hold up to long-term extension wear.

Q: How long can I wear my extensions for?

A: Your extension hair is reusable, and can be worn for up to a year or more.  Regular maintenance (generally once every 6- 8 weeks) and good care of your hair (i.e: high quality products) will lengthen the amount of time that you can use that particular head of hair.  It is not necessary to take out your extensions for any period of time, although if you should decide to, the hair can be used again at a different date.   Some clients have worn extensions for 10 plus years!

Q: Can I wash and blow-dry my hair extensions?

A: Yes!  The hair is 100% human and can even be flat-ironed.  Generally, if you can do it to your own hair, you can do it to extension hair.
